the penultimate crossbody

I received this today, I'd say about 4 hours ago, and it's already left the house with me to run errands. Looking at the pictures, I was expecting a sort of stiff and rough texture on the outside, but this bag is a soft boy like me. I'm very pleasantly surprised by the feel of the inner lining and the outer shell. I'm very picky about texture, and I'm obsessed with the feel of it.

Absolutely nothing prepared me for how absolutely cool the buckle is. I love how easy it is to adjust the size of the strap, and how secure it feels once it's on.

Because of the shape of it, I can wear this bad boy like a fanny pack as well, and I LOVE THAT FOR ME!!!

Finally, the art. The art on this bag. This bag IS art, for one. But also, getting to see all of the paint strokes and marker lines and layers of color, it's dynamic and detailed and has so much to look at. Seeing the repeated phrase "no longer a young man" all over the bag feels very special, to me personally. I love aging, I love being a greying trans man. Life is beautiful.

Amazing person and amazing crossbody! The photos don’t do this bag justice. Its high quality, love the pattern and story behind it, the interior lining is beautiful and was a surprise to me (also there’s a pocket inside) and the buckle is so cool! I love the size. I was afraid it would be too big and it’s like someone custom made it for me. Every detail was so thought out. Thank you Mars for the extra surprises. I love all of them and was very touched.
